Identity

Faces – Fourth graders are learning about identity and exaggerated facial expressions. We watched a mime explain different facial expressions one could make and then they draw their faces using characteristics about themselves, such as funny and peaceful. They were to focus on what the face would look like exaggerated. Then they made their faces out of clay and finally will paint them after the faces have been fired in the kiln.
